However, MSW are a by-product of human and animal existence, therefore it remains a constant product associated with human and animal settlements. They are produced as we go about our normal lives, therefore we can only reduce, reuse, recycle and recover, seeing waste as a resource in order to achieve a clean environment. This brings about the effective management of municipal solid waste.
